After 15 years of Remodeling homes, suddenly my life got turned upside down when the housing bubble burst. I was struggling for work with a family to feed, my wife just found out she was pregnant with our second daughter and I had no idea what was going to happen next.
After a couple of years collecting unemployment and doing odd jobs, I landed a position in the construction industry again. I wasn't making nearly what I made before and the long hours and physical labor was something I did not want to do anymore. It was at this point that I decided to use my 15 years experience building homes to help those looking to make the biggest purchase in their lives and I love it! I am currently contracted with Home Advantage Inspections, LLC and service Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.
I keep people safe from unseen danger as well as give them assurance about their next big investment. Every day is a new day and I always come across something new so I came up with the idea of creating a blog to further help others learn about possible dangers in their house, how to fix them, and just tell the stories about the weird things I find. I am excited for this new venture and hope that you enjoy!
